Protect Your Inbox with Virus Filtering
Over the past few years, computer viruses have progressed from rare curiosity to a persistent, worldwide problem – a problem that can cause real harm to your computers and your whole network.

With Virus Filtering your inbound email is scanned before it reaches your inbox. It offers you many customization options to help manage your mail while protecting your inbox.
A user can find their anti-virus settings under My Email Settings in the Gateway and administrators can access their users’ settings under Control Panel | Manage Users… | View/Edit Users… | Virus Filtering Settings.
In the Virus Filtering interface you can modify Mail Delivery Options for three message types. Account administrators can modify this across their entire user base. The default when Virus Filtering is enabled is “Strip & Notify” for all three types of filtered messages.
Multiple Delivery Options:
- Allow: Do not remove virus and do not quarantine
- Strip & Notify: Removes virus and replaces with a text file
- Drop: Drops the message
- Quarantine: Sets up a quarantine folder and quarantines infected email
Configure Delivery Options for three types of filtered messages:
- Infected Attachment: Known virus
- Unscannable Attachment: Unable to determine if safe or infected. This is a common problem if the file is encrypted or of an unknown data type.
- Executable Attachment: Filter out all executable attachments

Managing Files Is Now A Whole Lot Easier
The File Manager is a browser-based file management system for quick and easy management of files and directories within your Web Site Hosting Account without FTP.
The File Manager has been recently updated with a look and feel that is similar to the usual client file system. File Manager has also been dramatically improved to give you much more functionality than ever before. Some of the new features include:
- Multiple file uploads to your online disk space.
- Automatic renaming of multiple file uploads and copies.
- One button clicks to make new folders and download files.
- Display the entire folder tree.
- Display the URL of Web viewable files.
- Edit text based files.
These new features usually take no more than a click or two to perform. While very easy to use, there is extensive documentation including FAQs and QuickTips throughout the feature.

To make it easier for us to notify you of new features and innovative ways to use your web site please make sure the contact information is kept up to date. You can do this by going into your account and selecting “Account Billing Information” from the Control Panel drop down menu.
Did you know?
You can get your site’s reporting statistics emailed to you on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.
If you, your CEO, or your Web site administrator are looking for an easy way to view site statistics, it doesn’t get much easier than opening an email.
First make sure logging is enabled on your site. To set up emailed statistics go to Manage Users | View/Edit Users… | Status Settings. Status Settings contains a list of users within your domain. Click-and-edit each user that requires emailed statistics (most don’t). While editing a user you will see a selection with radial buttons for Daily, weekly and monthly account statistics. Select “yes” and you are done. Repeat as necessary for other users within your domain.
